Last updated: July 20, 2026.
Permitted use
You may use the website for lawful DNS troubleshooting, education, website administration, and network documentation. Automated requests must remain reasonable and must not interfere with service availability.
Prohibited use
- Do not use the service to harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or falsely identify another person.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
- Do not submit malicious payloads, conduct denial-of-service activity, or use bots to create fraudulent advertising impressions or clicks.
- Do not present DNS results as conclusive proof of a person’s identity or exact location.
Accuracy
DNS records can be missing, cached, outdated, misconfigured, or changed by their owners. Results are supplied for informational purposes and are not guaranteed.
No security guarantee
Reasonable safeguards are included, but no internet service can guarantee complete protection against every attack. Users remain responsible for securing their own devices, accounts, domains, and networks.
Advertising
Any future advertisements must be clearly distinguishable from tool controls and lookup results. Clicking your own ads, requesting clicks, purchasing bot traffic, or using traffic exchanges is prohibited.
Changes
The owner may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
